Welcome to Weekend Writing Warriors, the weekly hop for everyone who loves to write! Sign up below with your name, blog and email and share an 8 to 10 sentence snippet of your writing on Sunday. Your post needs to be live between 12:00 noon on Saturday 07/02/16 and 9:00 AM on Sunday 07/03/16. Visit other participants on the list and read, critique, and comment on their 8sunday posts. I've been sharing from my WIP, The Tree of Life. Rio, in shapeshifter form, has been spying on the Vargas clan. A VIP has just arrived, and he is busy observing the frantic activity surrounding that arrival, when... Who are you? His attention flew back to her face. She was staring straight at him, and she saw him. She was inside his head, with him. Don’t let her know your name, he schooled himself. She was there with him. With the other him. Rio lifted his paw to flee. Don’t go. It wasn't a request. I hope you enjoyed this week's snippet. Please visit the other Weekend Writing Warriors and fabulous #SnippetSunday authors to discover some great new reads!! I had a great time posting Elizabeth's blog for her. That sure is one big kitty! Also, on my first day as VP of Social Media, I have been sprucing up her website. I don't think she's changed it since she first moved to AZ, before I was even born! No wonder she needs my help! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

I think he should run. Staying longer gives her more time to discover who he is. Excellent tension, Elizabeth.

I think he should run, but maybe he can't. Guess we have to wait for next week to see how this plays out.

I'm wondering, of course, who the voice in his head his ... but I'm also worried that Hudson and Effing Feline might get along like cats and dogs.

Not to worry, Ed. Hudson has been reading Effing Cat's posts and he cracks him up. Hudson has been around a bit (going to be featured in Author Charmaine Gordon's rescue and service doggie book), and he's not just tolerant, but heavily into Coexistence. He even likes to go to art therapy with me, so enjoys Effing Cat's art too!

Nice snippet. I think he should definitely run but I don't think he's going to. Curiosity and cats and all that.
